[Swath Design - Concept Car] Main Deliverables of this Project
Design and build the interiors and exteriors of a concept car, code named Aqueria.
Description
The modes of sea transportation are changing everyday. Traditional, conventional, and modern boats and yachts are continuously being improved and upgraded with new technology. New designs, concepts, and technology are making it possible for people to explore greater depths and larger expanse of oceans and seas.
We want to design a unique small boat-car, designed with the stability of a swath boat and the looks and comfort of a high-end car. Aquaria is designed to transport up to 6 passengers at a time over short distances - from one seapod to another or from one boat to another.

Why this is important
The most commonly used mode of transport over water for short distances are small boats, dinghies, paddle boats and rafts. These modes of transport have their limitations like speed, stability over water, and protection from heat, humidity, rain and harsh sunshine.
The design of this concept boat-car is inspired by high-end cars on land. The swatch boat chassis provides stability to the structure, thereby increasing fuel efficiency, maneuverability and speed compared to other boats. Being a small sized boat-car, sail preparations are lesser than that of regular boats and rafts.
