Description
Home Automation is designed to control household features, activity, and appliances. It uses one or more computers to control basic home functions and features automatically and, if required, remotely.
As part of home automation for SeaPods, the objective of this project is to use AI and ML to recognize voice commands to control operations that are usually done manually, for example switching on or switching off lights, fans, air conditioners, drawing curtains among other things.
Why this is Important
Speech recognition using AI and ML technologies are fast evolving and replace the need for manual control of switches and monitoring appliances. While this simplifies everyday operations, this can also be very useful in situations like medical emergencies, armed robberies and other acts of crime.
