Aluminum-Air battery is being researched by scientists worldwide to be the next generation batteries - a replacement for Lithium-Ion batteries. Though they have been in use for some time now in various industries and defense installations, they are used as secondary options for generation and storage of energy, the first option being Lithium-Ion batteries.

Here are some advantages of Aluminum-Air batteries.

The biggest challenge with Aluminum-Air battery is that they cannot be recharged like Lithium-Ion batteries.  An Aluminum-Air battery is a single-use only battery. Once the battery is discharged, it needs to be replaced with a new one.life.
