Photosynthesis Detector for Roll A Garden

I asked the Publiclab community if it’s a good idea to use infrared photography for our Roll a Garden to support plant growth.

You can see the answer in the blog thread here.

In conclusion they said the following below: 

Infragram will show you results only if there is infrared light present to be reflected, either from daylight or grow lights that have IR light.

The data can show you which parts of which plants are photosynthesizing most vigorously. Other factors being equal, this information could alert you to a situation such as your fertilizer or light not reaching all your plants evenly.
